New toys for daycare centers in Konz and Oberbillig

The children at the Lorenz Kellner daycare center in Konz and the Kastanienvilla daycare center in Oberbillig received an unexpected gift from Westenergie. The energy and infrastructure provider provided each of the daycare centers with a free Westenergie activity bag. The bag contains toys and materials to promote physical activity for children ages three to ten.

In addition to Westenergie Municipal Manager Christian Nathem, the full-time councilor of the Konz municipal association, Guido Wacht, and the second councilor of the local municipality in Oberbillig, Steffi Hermesdorf, were present at the handover. Both emphasized the importance of exercise for healthy development: "It promotes not only the physical but also the intellectual and social development of children," said Guido Wacht. Westenergie Municipal Manager Christian Nathem added: "Through exercise games, children develop their social skills and have a lot of fun at the same time."
