- If you have already applied for postal voting documents for the district administrator’s runoff election in the election to the 20th Bundestag and the district administrator’s election, the documents for the upcoming district administrator’s runoff election on October 10 will be sent to you automatically. A new application is not necessary in this case! The documents will be sent out on September 29 at the earliest!
If the application for the postal voting documents was not submitted, this can be done later in various ways:

- in the postal ballot box behind the town hall
There you will receive the postal voting documents upon presentation of the original voting notification (and, if necessary, the presentation of a power of attorney if you collect the documents for a third party).
You can visit the postal voting container without an appointment during the following opening times:
from the September 30th to October 7th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m and
at the October 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m - by request

Voters can also vote directly on election day ( October 10, 2021 ) vote directly in the respective polling station – be sure to have an ID document with you at the polling station and ideally also the voting notification you originally received.
On Sunday, September 26, 2021, the election of the 20th German Bundestag and the election of the district administrator of the district of Trier-Saarburg will take place. A possible run-off election for the district administrator will take place on October 10, 2021.
