National Reading Day 2024: "Reading aloud creates the future"
The nationwide reading day is just around the corner! Under the motto “Reading aloud creates the future”, the city of Konz, together with the reading scouts from Nittel primary school, cordially invites you to the Konz city library. There, kindergarten and primary school children can on November 15, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. take part in an exciting reading afternoon.
The reading scouts will read selected stories at five different stations. The program includes:
- The Olchis – A Dragon Festival for Feuerstuhl
- Rabbit Hibiscus and the Sniffly Nose
- Jim is in a bad mood
- Three ??? Kids
- Zippel, the real castle ghost
A special highlight: children are invited to bring their cuddly toys! These can be treated during the story of Hibiscus the Rabbit, which makes for extra fun.
In addition to reading aloud, there are also creative craft activities that stimulate the imagination of the little listeners. And don't worry - the book carousel is turning! After each station, the children have the opportunity to switch to a new story.
Come along and experience an afternoon full of stories, creativity and fun! The Konz City Library is looking forward to welcoming lots of little bookworms and cuddly toys!
