Forest Day 2022 - Your forester will take you into the forest!

The foresters Dietrich Harder and Peter Strupp take you on

Sunday, September 18, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m

take you on a walk in the forest and show you the diverse demands that the forest has to meet nowadays. They show you how the climate crisis is endangering the forest and its diverse functions and how the foresters are preparing the forest for a future in climate change. They show you how we, together with the forest owners, accept this challenge and which complex ecological relationships have to be taken into account.

We invite you to a two-hour forest walk. Please register by post, fax or e-mail by September 10, 2022 at the latest on. We look forward to your participation, please wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate to the weather.

You have 2 options, the start of the forest walk is at 10:00 a.m.:

- Palzem forest district, forester Peter Strupp

Meeting point: in front of the Mannebach brewery
